More than 100 years after Arthur Train realized his dream house on Sol's Cliff, it remains in the family. His grandchildren love it as he did. Avid hikers and lovers of the great outdoors, they get to Maine as often as possible.

Nobody knew Sol's Cliff House and all its secrets quite like Leo Higgins. The Bar Harbor estate has been under the care of Leo's family since it was built, passing through the generations. Leo was an extension of our family who passed away on January 9th, 2022. You can read his obituary here.
